LADIES AND GENTLEMEN Lamplight Medical Abuse presents the first in a long line of our very own Medical Failures Hall of Blames. Our Hall of Blame awards are known as the Wojies. In just a minute you will see why!

We help patients and families all over the world, but because we are located in Tennessee, our Director of Medical Abuse Questions and Investigations thought it would only be fair to enter into our "Hall of Monetary Damages Claims" in this first round, the people he directly has had some small part in getting them the help they needed most, an Un-employment check. Or knew well enough personally to not have been surprised or think a mistake was made.  Our hall of Monetary Damages claims are named the Wojie awards.. Named after Dr. James Wojack MD. That still practices medicines even though as you will learn when we get the story completed, is one of the worst persons still with a working NPI #. Adrian famously told him once, "Wherever, and who ever gave you  a medical degree, should give you your money back!"

State of Tennessee Chief Medical Examiner

Found to be in possession of marijuana
License placed on probation for not less than five years; must meet certain terms
and conditions; assessed $1,000 civil penalty, plus costs

{I think a little context should go along with this one... Dr. Levy was the TN. Chief Medical Examiner, which basically made him top Doctor in all of TN.

Well the State of Miss. Did not have a Chief ME. at the time, and every state has to have one because of legal, judicial, an many other factors. So a few times a month Dr, Levy would drive to Miss. and act as their interim ME... The only problem was, he ran out of WEED while he was there on MULTIPLE TRIPS, and began having his wife Mail him Ounces to Pounds of Marijuana through the United States Postal Service... Not FEDX or UPS where it wouldn't have big such as big an issue, no he used a few  Aldous Huxley stamps and had his wife drop it in the mail.. The DEA nabbed him on the second shipment... This guy's judgment helped put people in prison or other people out!!! )

,,Dr. Young Moon MD.
Oncologist/Hematologist ,,AND THE GOLD WINNER IN THIS ROUND  OF HORRIBLE PEOPLE IN HEALTHCARE...
Young Moon MD.
Permanently Revoked   (News story thanks to the Crossville Chronicle.
A Crossville oncologist who was convicted of diluting cancer medications she gave to her patients was sentenced Monday to 15 years in federal prison, but said she plans to appeal.

Prosecutors said oncologist Dr. Young Moon shortchanged her patients' chemotherapy drugs from 1999 to 2002 and then billed Medicare, TennCare and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for the full amount.

Family members of her former patients attended the hearing and argued for the maximum sentence of up to 35 years.

It's one thing to lose your mom, and to find out it's because of malicious behavior just adds to it,' Diana DeWitt, 47, a Nashville musician, told U.S. District Judge Todd Campbell Monday. DeWitt's mother, Dolores, died in 2001 of ovarian cancer after being in Moon's care for a year.

Moon was also ordered to pay $432,238 in restitution for defrauding Medicare, TennCare and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Of that total, $271,000 must be paid when she sells her Crossville home.

Moon must also serve two years supervised release and would be barred from working health care

'I do not thoroughly agree on the conviction,' Moon told the judge. Moon has blamed the drug dilution on failing to properly supervise her staff, confusing paperwork and her busy schedule.

'This will help my future to avoid this mistake. I did not supervise carefully,' Moon said. 'I was focused on patient care.

The investigation began after a receptionist in Moon's office called the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in 2001 to report the fraud allegations.
